The 58th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Te Rito Maioha Early Childhood New Zealand Incorporated (ECNZ) will be held:

Date: Thursday, 29 July 2021 at 5.30pm
Venue: Te Rito Maioha Early Childhood New Zealand, 191A Thorndon Quay, Wellington, alternatively, registered members may attend remotely via Zoom. A Zoom invitation will be sent to members who have registered their attendance prior to the AGM.

A copy of the 2021 Annual Report is available here. The Annual Report includes the audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2020 and a copy of the draft minutes from the 2020 AGM.

Election to Council
Nominations for Council Member positions are now closed and the results will be advised at the AGM. 

Resolutions
The cut off date for receiving proposed resolutions has now passed.  Proposed resolutions can be found here.

Voting at the Annual General Meeting
Members are able to vote at the Annual General Meeting. Service members are entitled to two (2) votes regardless of the number of services covered by the membership; Life members and Individual members are entitled to one (1) vote; Professional and non-fee paying members (other than Life Members) shall not be entitled to voting rights.

Voting sticks are issued to members at the AGM. Each stick equals one vote. Eligible members attending via Zoom will be able to vote via Zoom (details of how to do this will be provided at the AGM).

Registration
Members who wish to attend must pre-register for the AGM on the official form and email the completed form to [email protected] by 12 noon, Thursday, 22 July 2021. Forms can be found here.

Any member who is unable to attend a general meeting may appoint another member to attend and vote on their behalf. This right to proxy must also be registered with the Chief Executive on the official form and emailed to [email protected] by 12 noon, Thursday, 22 July 2021. Forms can be found here. If you would like to nominate a proxy but do not know anyone attending the AGM please contact [email protected].
