Dealing with the hard stuff is all about learning to be courageous in your leadership role and growing an awareness of key areas needed to assist and support you and your team in exploring resolutions.

In this webinar you will come away with strategies to put into practice with your team including:

Penny teaches in the graduate and postgraduate leadership programmes at Te Rito Maioha ECNZ.  Penny has been involved in the ECE sector for over 30 years and is passionate about growing teachers and leaders.  Penny holds two governance roles and understands the importance of effective, strong leadership for ensuring quality practices within the ECE sector.

Claire teaches in the graduate and postgraduate leadership programmes at Te Rito Maioha ECNZ. Claire holds a master’s qualification with first class honours, and received the New Zealand Academic and Research in Education (NZARE) Rae Munro award in 2017 for her high quality Master’s thesis. Claire, who is both ECE and primary trained, has been involved in educational research for many years, predominantly using action research methodology. This research field experience has given her many skills in working closely with teachers and wider learning communities, particularly within low socioeconomic settings.
