Biography

Role

Clark has been involved in a high level of relationship management and development across the motu to gain placements and communicate requirements for teaching students. In his career, he has lectured and delivered professional development to student teachers and associate teachers specialising in field-based training. He has also been involved in collaborative development of infrastructure of the field-based primary programme. 

Clark has experience in development of academic papers for the primary programme and as a beginning researcher in the primary research programme. 

Education background

During his career in education, Clark has held many roles that include working as a teacher, deputy principal, and principal. He has also worked as a primary practicum coordinator at the University of Waikato.  

Teaching interests

Clark believes teaching is the process of learning from your tauira, kaiako, pouako, whānau, and community. His educational philosophy and teaching methodology has evolved with experience and knowledge.
