Applying for Graduation

All students who have successfully completed the requirements of their programme of study are entitled to graduate.

The requirements also include:

• Ensuring all fees are paid and library items returned.
• Completing the online Graduation Student Information form by 9th December 2024.
  If this form is not completed by the set date your award will be conferred in absentia.

If you are unable to attend the graduation ceremony, your qualification will be awarded in absentia and posted to you after the ceremony. You are still required to complete the Graduation Student Information form to provide your correct details.

The link to this form will be emailed to you and also be made available on Pou Manawa Akoranga.

Graduands do not need tickets, but guests do.

Each graduand will receive 4 tickets and can request more if needed.

Please indicate the number of guests on your Graduation Student Information form, even if you don’t plan to bring any, as this is important for seating and catering.

If any guests have special seating or access requirements, please let us know when you apply to graduate.

Please advise your guests to allow ample time before the ceremony to secure parking. Due to limited parking availability at the venue, they may need to park a bit further away.

If you register for a graduation ceremony but then are subsequently unable to attend, please email studentservices@ecnz.ac.nz by 7th February 2025.

If you miss this deadline, your qualification will be conferred in absentia. Your qualification can only be conferred once, so you will not be able to graduate at another ceremony.
