Graduate Women Wellington Charitable Trust Final Practicum Scholarship (GWWCT)

The GWWCT Scholarships are designed to provide financial assistance to tauira who are facing challenges in covering costs related to their final practicum in their programme of study.
This Scholarship aims to support highly deserving applicants who face socio-economic barriers that make it difficult to afford their final practicum. The GWWCT Scholarships will be awarded competitively, based on equity, merit and commitment to the teaching profession.
Applications close on 1st June each year.
Background
For many tauira financial costs can create significant barriers to their academic success, impacting their ability to focus on their study, participate fully in the learning experience and graduate.
These scholarships support our commitment to equity and growing a culturally responsive teaching workforce by reducing the socio-economic barriers that may prevent some tauira from graduating from their initial teacher education programme.
