Ideas and practical skills for literacy learning, to tell stories of whakapapa and the local area.
This PLD is suitable for kaiako working with tamariki (ECE and Primary).
Shelley Sugrue - Programme Leader Graduate Diploma in Teaching Kaiārahi Hōtaka
As programme leader, Shelley is responsible for overseeing the delivery of the Graduate Diploma in Teaching (ECE) programme. She also teaches in the programme and visits students to assess their teaching practice in centres.
Tess Huggins - Lecturer Kaiako
Tess teaches the two Montessori courses in our Level 5 New Zealand Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Aperfield Montessori) Te Tohu Pōkairua Mātauranga Kōhungahunga (Aperfield Montessori). Tess also teaches the Montessori focussed Masters courses. She is responsible for providing Montessori theory and curriculum.
